Democracy died while you were focusing on the economy

The growth of monopolies, loss of pensions, and depression of wages in the US under the guise of “pro-business” conservative fiscal policies since the Reagan administration has created tremendous wealth disparity and destroyed the competitive market. Large corporations who have driven out small businesses are now enjoying record profits while using inflation as a cover for price gouging.
